How to Choose our Microsoft 365 subscription?

In the previous post we have discussed what is Microsoft 365.If haven't seen the post please take a look Link.If you are preparing for Microsoft ms-100 Microsoft identity and services certification. Then this article may be useful for you.

If you are  going to choose Microsoft 365 for Your organization you have to find the subscription that is suitable to meet the organization needs.

Microsoft provided subscription options:

  • Microsoft 365 Business.

  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise.

  • Microsoft 365 Education.

Microsoft 365 Business:-

It targets the small business that needs cloud integration and has users up-to 300.There are four different subscription.

  • Microsoft 365 Apps for Business:-

    It provides all office apps desktop version, 1TB one drive storage per user, and install office app in mobile devices and updates the feature every month

  • Microsoft 365 Business Basic:-

    • 50 GB mailbox and custom email domains.
    • Create a hub of the team and connect with Microsoft teams.
    • Host online meeting up to 250 users.
    • Plus the Microsoft 365 Apps for Business features. but Traditional app in the web version.

  • Microsoft 365 Business Standard:-

    It provides the same features as Microsoft 365 Business Basic but the only difference is that you will Get the desktop version of Office apps.

  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium:-

    ■ It provides the same features of Microsoft 365 Business Standard pulse advance security and protection against cyber threats.

Microsoft 365 Business:-

If the focus is on the medium-sized and enterprise-level organization that needs a cloud collaboration along with a few extra features like an Intranet site and requires an unlimited number of users. It contains 4 different subscription option

  • Office 365 E3.

  • Office 365 E5.

  • Office 365 F3.

  • Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise.

There are a few common features that are available in all office 365 E3, E5, F3 is Online version on office apps with 1 TB one drive storage per user, 100 GB mailbox, intranet site, and meeting broadcast up to 10000 users

  • Office 365 E3:-

    This E3 in include the business services pulse ability to install office app locally and application like enterprise management, self-service business intelligence, and compliance tools such as archiving and legal hold, rights management, data loss prevention, and email and file encryption

  • Office 365 E5:-

    E5 includes all features of E3 pulse advanced security and analytic tools and cloud PBX for cloud-based call management.

  • Office 365 F3:-

    F3 provides only access to the online version of the office application because it is a cloud-based subscription.

  • Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise:-

    It provides ability to use both online and ofline version for Office apps , cloud storage upto 1-TB, and application like enterprise management, self-service business intelligence.
